ADDING POLICY: I will neither add nor drop anyone during the first week of class; however, if you are not present when I take attendence during the first 5 minutes of the second week of class you will be dropped and your spot given to someone else. Those wanting to add must come to the first meeting to ensure they keep their spot on waiting lists or submit their name for adding consideration. For classes that have a waitlist: in the second week of class I will simply add people in the order in which they appear on the list. For classes without a waitlist: in the second week of class I will randomly select names from those who came to the first meeting and submitted their names for consideration. In both cases: if you fail to show up for the first class you are not entitled to add the class. For all classes I will add up to 5 students above the class cap. NO MORE. If you want to add the class please be honest with yourself about your ability and desire to meet the requirements: you ought not take a spot from someone who is passionate about philosophy merely because you need units.

NOTE: All my sections are full and the majority of them also have long waitlists. If you are not on the waitlist there is virtually no chance that you may enroll in the class.
